For many guests Barweiler is a popular destination, because it is situated centrally and amidst many good destinations for a trip to the rivers Rhine, Ahr and Moselle and to the „hohe Venn“ (High Fens) and in the midst of a lovely countryside and many good routes for a motorbike-trip. The proximity to the Nürburgring is a further advantage for visitors.

The Nürburgring is one of the most traditional, longest, most demanding and most busy racetracks in the world. Numerous visitors experience pure music and sport events at racing events every year in addition to many music and sport events. Amateurs and professionals from various racing classes compete and their vehicles here on two courses: the traditional Nordschleife and the modern Grand Prix circuit.
The famous Nürburgring can be reached in just under 6 minutes by car. The Norschleife and the legendary Brünnchen in about 12 minutes.

Our house is of course shaped by motorsport, which is also reflected in the entire house. Numerous racing teams and private motorsport enthusiasts who are drawn to the Nordschleife are among our guests.

The Eifel region is a picturesque landscape and awaits you with narrow twisty roads. Our highlight is only five kilometres away: the famous Nürburgring race track - the so-called "Green Hell".

Holiday by bicycle – no problem at Hotel Huellen.

The tracks of the Eifel bicyclepath network alternate between uphill passages and zestful descents. A total of approx. 300 km of signposted tracks are available. For mountainbike fans we recommend the route through the „green hell“, 26 km along the legendary Northern loop.

Well signposted hiking trails from Eifel clubs like the Rhine-Ruhr-Eifel path or the Karl-Kaufmann route are at your entire disposal, as well as the local thematic hiking trails.
Discover the Nürburgring and its (hi)story “on the tracks of the green hell”, cross the brook valleys of the Eifel “on the tracks of old mills” or plunge into the century old history of the region “on the tracks of the knights” – alongside hiking and landscape you are offered further interesting information.
