A particular highlight for mountain bike enthusiasts is the ‘Green Hell’ route along the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. This 26-kilometre route promises not only a sporting challenge, but also spectacular views and the chance to enjoy the great outdoors.

Stretching 58 kilometres from Daun to Bernkastel-Kues, this cycle route is particularly suitable for leisure cyclists and families. The route follows old railway lines for the most part, making for a relaxing ride. Another popular option is the Eifel Volcano Cycle Route, which spans 77 kilometres, linking the Ahr and Moselle rivers. This route winds its way through rolling hills and charming Eifel villages.
For those with a taste for adventure, the Cosmos Cycle Route between Daun and Meerfeld is a truly special experience. Over a distance of 21 kilometres, you’ll be immersed in the vastness of the cosmos and take a journey through time from the ‘present’ back to the Big Bang.

From spring to autumn, you can use these buses to be taken from the Moselle up into the Eifel, or to travel back in comfort after a strenuous ride.
